The AAU team put in a strong showing at the 2010 World Karate Confederation World Championships, winning 23 divisions and sweeping a few. The team's total medal count: 90. We're especially proud of the Ingram's students, who placed in six events and took several firsts. The other Isshinryu practitioner on the team, Nick Arndt, also took a first and second. Five Ingram's Karate students have been chosen to represent the United States AAU Team at the WKC World Championships for Juniors and Cadets October 22–24 in Venice, Italy.

Grandmaster Harold Mitchum and a group of Tennessee UIKA members attended the second annual Battle of Cumberland Gap in Middlesboro, Kentucky, October 1stand 2nd. Eight competitors from the Seiber and Lewis dojos took 21 trophies in 19 divisions, including the two Grand Champion trophies.
